Semillas Seeds LLP a company founded in Maharashtra having a wide range of Research, Hybrid varieties Popular Notified varietal seeds in its product offerings. We have an exclusive R & D centre in which we aim to develop farmer centric and high yielding hybrids varieties which will increase the farmers financial gains.
We have a strong team of researchers, managers and sales force who are constantly in touch with the farmers empowering them to be successful. With the changing environment our discoveries in research and hybrid seeds are sustainable and safe for the people.
We supply pure quality seeds true to their character so that the farmers may enjoy high profit margins as well as get a nutrient rich abundant crop. Our discovered varieties also show resistance to harmful insects & diseases thereby reducing the farmers’ dependence on pesticides as well as they can withstand biotic and abiotic stresses.

Members
Dr. Sagar Ghorpade, with a robust background in Agricultural Sciences and over 18 years of experience in the fertilizers, pesticides, and seeds industry, brings an in-depth understanding of farmers' needs and the agricultural input sector's challenges. His academic foundation in agriculture, coupled with extensive field experience, inspired him to establish his own ventures to make a more meaningful contribution to the welfare of farmers. Since the inception of his companies, Dr. Sagar Ghorpade has actively managed manufacturing and marketing operations. By 2010, he strategically delegated key responsibilities to specialized teams, while maintaining oversight to ensure the organization's mission and values remain central to its operations.
With over 30 years of experience in the seeds industry, Mr. Deepak Narkhede is one of the notable contributors to Semillas’s success. He brings with him a vast knowledge base regarding the technical aspects of seed production, processing, registration, and sales & marketing. He also leads the sales team in identifying the potent sale areas of various field and vegetable crops and ensuring their timely placement in the markets before the season. Furthermore, he collaborates with stakeholders to enhance market reach. In addition, he guides farmers regarding the right package of practices and crop care to be implemented, ensuring that they achieve sustainable, high-quality produce year after year.
Mr. Manoj Bijagare brings over 35 years of professional research expertise in field crops such as Maize, Wheat, Paddy, Pearl Millet, Sunflower, and Sorghum. A seasoned plant breeder, he excels in developing hybrids and breeding lines tailored to diverse agroclimatic zones and current environmental conditions. His unparalleled experience enables Semillas Seeds to create high-performing hybrids suited for modern agricultural challenges. In addition to leading hybrid development, Mr. Manoj Bijagare oversees research facility operations, maintenance, and technical support for sales teams. As a member of the All India Varietal Release Committee, his contributions have significantly advanced the agricultural research landscape.
